Lila

Lila’s first love is dog showing.  I go to a few shows a
year.  We show in UKC and AKC.

We only have a few litters a year.  We’re not big
breeders but we do love having beautiful puppies.  My
favorite thing is to have a litter to take care of in my
living room.

Our dogs live in our homes and sleep in our
bedrooms.  Sometimes our husbands think they are
being pushed out of bed.

A friend introduced us to Toy Fox Terriers 1
3 years
ago.
Sharon & I went together and bought our first
show
dog.  They are so precious that eventually we
added a few more to each of our homes.

Sharon
Lila and I met almost 23 years ago at a dog show.
We’ve been good friends ever since.

Toy Fox Terriers are so sweet it would be easy to have
a multitude of them.  We both try to keep our numbers
to around 4 or 5.

This way we have time to be with them and love each
one.  They love to play but when they are done they
just want to cuddle and be loved.

My home is the social place for all the Toy Fox Terrier
people in our area.  It's nothing to have 20 Toy Fox
Terriers in the backyard while we're having a picnic.
They love being together and people love visiting
about their dogs.

board of  the American Toy Fox Terrier Club for 4
years all together.  I've been a member of this club
since 1996.

I'm also a member of Des Moines Kennel Club and
Cyclone Country Kennel Club.  I've been an officer of
both of them over the years  I've been a  member of
the Des Moines Kennel Club for 23 years and 9 years
in the Cyclone Kennel Club.
